    The export transfers all fields of the mail messages to a table in Access. Each e-mail becomes one record. Attachments are not fields in the mail message and since there can be multiple attachments per e-mail, they cannot be stored in the table.

    You could use JohnBF's <!post=Outlook Attachment Removal Manager,443421>Outlook Attachment Removal Manager<!/post> to store the attachments on disk before exporting the mail messages.

    Exporting Folders (Outlook 2000/2003)

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by Leif on 02-Dec-05 15:41. To correct a spelling mistake in the Subject and allow a search to locate the post.)</P>I would like to find out if there is a way when exporting emails from a folder in Outlook to include attachments, if any, to the email.

    I am using the Import/Export... option on the File menu. I am exporting to a MS Access database.
    When I open the database, I see all the goodies form the emails, To, From, Subject, message, and so forth, but I am not getting the attachments
    to those emails that have them.
