Text on top of clipart (2003)

I am making a gift tag and have a piece of clip art. I would like to insert text on top of the clip art. Can you help me with how I can accomplish this? Many thanks!

The easiest way to do this is to put your text in a text box. You can set the fill and the border of the text box to be No Fill and No Line. If the clipart is formatted as Inline, then the text box will need to be "In front of text" - like in this example.

Word isn't the best program for this... but you can position a picture behind text and move it around until it looks right.

Thank you Stuart! It worked like a charm. I think where I was having trouble was whenever I would click "insert text box" I got a drawing frame. I figured out how to get rid of it in options. Also, the no fill and no border did the trick! Thanks again and thanks to everyone who responded. I appreciate it very much!
