    NTFS Permissions (03; sp3)

Is it possible to utilize VBA code to set/control permissions of sub-directories on a server?

    John,
Is this an excel-specific problem? I believe you would have to manage folder permissions on the server....

    Re: NTFS Permissions (03; sp3)

    Jeremy,

I have roughly 500 sub-directories that need to setup on the server which I can do via Excel code. At the same time I would like to be able to set permissions with some additional VBA code. Setting the NTFS permissions manually would be a monumental task.

    Regards,
    John

You can try this VB script:
Create Share And Setup Share Permissions

I can't test, i don't have admin rights on our network
