    Message on screen (VB6)

I'm looking for some code that allows me to do the following:

    * Upon execution place a message on the screen (no min/max/menu, just a minimal box with a message; should be semi transparent as I want it to show over an application)
    * It should be possible to minimize the message (e.g through a click or right-click); it should go to a minimized state or -more beautiful- to the tray
    * The message should stay until the program is executed again (or if you have any other way... I just want a way to setup the message and -when I'm done- remove it

Anyone with a suggestion; or preferably code or a working example ??

    Erik Jan

PS. I see the double running to switch on and off as a potential problem; the minimize, the transparency, the screen location... It's all possible and sounds simple, I know its not, hence my question

Cannot compile, missing: cnewmenu6.dll (also ssubtnr5.dll wasn't there but I managed to find that one)

Yes, thanks. I see an app that makes something transparent... is that it? If so thanks, that would be one part of what I'm looking for (I don't want transparent MENUs, just a transparent text; from looking at the DLL's etc that seems a lot of work; or is that to get the menus?)
