Calculations in Headers and Footers (2003)

I am running a class at the moment and I am just going through Calculations in Reports. I usually teach them to add a group footer to a report to allow them to, say, count the number of records in that group. One of the Students asked if the records could be calculated in the group header and dispence with the footer. We tried it and it worked. We have a tiny record set of 25 records in the example but I was wondering is there a danger of this method of calculating in a group header for larger datasets?

No, the group header can be used for such calculations as well. Access will pass through the data twice if necessary in order to calculate the results.
