Sal,
My Italian is not very good but it looks like you still have the older SP1 version installed, with a few hotpatches.

If that's right, I would first upgrade to SP2 and get all the latest patches for SP2. Then see how it runs.

You did not supply much in the way of clues or information that would be helpful to solve the problem. For starters:

About when did the behavior start to occur?

Were/are there any recent changes to the system, including but not limited to software installs, patches, updates?

Are there any other symptoms?[/list]You can also try the steps outlined in MSKB article 293907:

Start the Internet Explorer Repair tool from a command prompt. To do so, click Start, click Run, and then in the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK:

    rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:Program FilesInternet ExplorerSetupSETUP.EXE" /g "C:WINDOWSIE Uninstall Log.Txt"

    NOTE:
    This command is case sensitive.

This should give you plenty to start with.

    Yeah, you are right, Joe.
I missed his typo at the top of the post where Sal mentioned Win200 pro, not WIn2000.
Too busy trying to be an Italian interpreter with the screen shot.
