edit 'insert object' list (Word 2003)

In Word 2003 if I bring up the "insert object" list, it starts with ten blank lines, and there are 3 more blank lines later amongst the regular object references. Is there any way to edit, to modify this list? (registry tweak, ini file, or wherever...)
    Thanks in advance,
    Adam

Do you have WordPerfect installed? Apparently it creates several nameless insertable objects.

You can find the insertable objects as follows:
    - In Windows, select Start | Run...
    - Type regedit and press Enter.
    - Click on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
    - Select Edit | Find...
    - Enter Insertable and press Enter.
    - When RegEdit finds an entry, click on the parent entry.
    - The Default value in the right hand pane will contain the name as displayed in the Insert | Object list.
    - If a Default value is blank, you can delete the Insertable key to remove the item from the list.
    - Press F3 to find the next instance.

    Hans,
    Thank you for your help.
I had(!) WordPerfect installed earlier, but those empties remained in the registry after uninstalling. Also, a couple of old Excel and PowerPoint keys behaved the same way.
Just finished cleaning up, tested: no blank lines anymore!
    Thanks again,
    Adam
