Toggle Macro Security (Excel XP >)

    Hi,
Is there any way that the security setting for excel macros can be toggled between High and Medium using the On_Open workbook event.
I have a friend that sends a workbook by email to a group of people in another business. He wants to ensure that when they open the WB, the macro setting is medium so it ddoes not disable his macros. When they close the file it must toggle back to High!
    Any way to do this?
    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

How virus makers would love to be able to manipulate macro security! <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

He should sign his macros with a digital certificate. See for example Code Signing Office XP Visual Basic for Applications Macro Projects (Microsoft Office XP Technical Articles).

In retrospect, I guess I'll <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15> at myself for asking that dumb question! (Admittedly, it did not occur to me that it is a No Go Zone !!
    BIIIG <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15> - allow for one embarresing post per day!

    Oh yeah... thanx for the link. <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15>
