    Search -default drive (Home/SR 2)

    In Search (for Files & Folders), is there a way to make Local Drive C the default in "Look in

    That is the default for me, "out of the box". What is the default on your system?

    Sorry - I mis-typed: I meant to ask if Local Disk could be made the Default.

    Since I'm not on a network, I'm not sure that there is a difference between Local Disk and Local Hard Drive, but the latter does seem to take longer to search, and logically so.....

    I don't think there is a difference. You can always start a search from wherever you want by browsing to the drive or folder in Windows Explorer and clicking Search on the toolbar.
