Outlook not recording Office documents in Journal
I am using Office 2000, with Outlook 2000. At one point when I went to the Journal and it asked if I wanted to turn it on, I said NO, and checked the option for 'Never ask me again'. Months later, I have changed my mind and would like to turn Journal on for recording office documents. I went into Tools > Options, clicked on Journal Options, and checked the boxes for the appropriate office documents. However, it is not recording anything.
I did a quick search on Microsoft's support site, and found article Q196108. I looked at my registry settings, and they looked correct. There was a 1 there in the Value Data Box for Word. (I only checked that one since that's what I'm most interested in).
I'm confused as to why the Journal won't record anything now. Any ideas?
