Status date in filters? (2002)

Is there a way to use the status date (as set in the Project Information dialog box) in filters? I want to create a filter that shows tasks that should have started or should have finished by the status date, and would LOVE not to have to reset the filter to the new date each time I status, but have not been able to figure out is it's possible to get the filter to key off the status date I have already entered.

I think this is possible, but have never had to do it. You can customize one of the date fields and use a formula to automatically calculate the status date. You can then use the status date field in your filter. I don't use filters a great deal within Project, but hope that helps.

Thank you! This did work just fine. I'll need to recheck it the next time to be sure it picks up those items that didn't require status this time, but the initial try looked good!
