Text Highlighting in Yellow ? (2000)

    People,

Is there a way to highlight text in yellow...in Publisher 2000.

This is such a basic text function...available in Word for example...& they can't provide this?

    Thanks,

Oh, I'm sure they can provide this <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> . I'm using 2003, but I don't think that much has changed since 2000. First, have you looked at all of the available toolbars to see if the fill tool is included in one of them? If it isn't, you can customize a toolbar and put the fill tool there. Right click on a toolbar>Customize>Commands tab>select a category (probably format) and then drag the Fill Color Command up to the toolbar.

If the fill tool is not available in 2000, you can always create a separate text box for the particular text and select a fill color.
