Do you change the Caption property of the userform itself, or the caption of one of the labels on the userform?

It's the caption of UserForm1. Sometimes it gets saved; sometimes it doesn't. Probably need to rebuild the workbook and use a cleanup utility. Do you remember the link for Codecleaner or something like that? --Sam

If I change the caption, it is displayed correctly, and it is also saved correctly with the workbook. But I'm using Excel 2002 (XP), I can't test in Excel 2000.

I got it in XL2003. If you try it several times, it will probably fail for you. Probably there is some corruption in the workbook. When weird things like this happen, I export all of the forms & code, then open a new workbook, copy the data, make sure all of the formulas are copied correctly, then inport the forms & code.

You're probably right. I changed the caption, then closed (with a save) and reopened the workbook 4 times. One of the 4 times, the change hadn't been saved.
