    Copying a table & borders (Word 2002)

    Hello, again -

When I copy/paste a table with No Border, the pasted table has a border. Is this a known issue?

(I have copied the table with and without the end row marker, but I still get the borders.)

    Thank you.

It doesn't happen in my Word 2002, even if the default Table AutoFormat doesn't have borders in the source document while it does have borders in the target document. Still, you might check if changing the default Table AutoFormat in the target document to a borderless table helps.

    Hans -

    Thank you!

Changing the default Table AufoFormat to borderless did it. I never thought of looking at that since I never use (that I know of...) the Auto choices in Word.

    You never cease to amaze.
