Words line spacing button (WordXP SP3)

On Words Formatting toolbar is the Line Spacing button.

When this button is used to change the paragraph Line Spacing do you know what styles it refers to or uses?

Its just I have a query from the user and I dont know anything about Line Spacing.
Our style 'Normal' is set to Font size 10.5pts. When the user uses this button to apply line spacing the font size changes to 12pt. and I cant seem to track down where the style is coming from?

I thought it only made a "direct formatting" change to that particular setting, as one would do in the Paragraph format dialog. I'm surprised that it changes the font size. Hmmm...

In my Word 2002 SP-3, the Line Spacing dropdown only changes line spacing, not the font or anything else. Perhaps your user has hijacked the SpacePara1, SpacePara15 and/or SpacePara2 commands by creating macros of the same name?
