    DLookup and dates (97)

I'm trying to get a DLOOKUP function on a form to lookup a value based on a date field contained in a text box. I've tried all variations of the where clause.. using #txtDate# and Format(txtDate,"dd/mm/yyy").. but it keeps giving #Error.
Any idea on the most reliable way of getting this to work? Thanks, Andy.

You will have to post your DLookup code before we can tell exactly what's wrong with it, however, if you format a date as a string, you'll need to concatenate the date delimiters to the string using an &: "#" & txtDate & "#"
