    Sharing QRY (2003/SP2)

We have written a new database query. When finished, we save the QRY file on the network for others to use but when they try, they get a ODBC error. It is apparently looking for personal ODBC settings. Is there a way around this??

You probably use a DSN (Data Source Name) stored on your PC. It can be a user or machine DSN stored in the Windows registry or a file DSN stored on the hard disk. We'd have to know more about the way you set up the query in order to come up with suggestions.

I have since found out that the company limits our ability to do anything to share.
