Organizational Chart (Access 2000)

Just curious if anyone has ever tried to create an organizational chart as a report within Access. I only need to go down 3 levels. For example, Senior management is level 1, manager is level 2 and supervisor is 3. Everyone else below that is 4. I want to track positions in Access and print out a chart that shows where each person is in the group.

Any help would be great.

Wouldn't grouping suffice in a report? Using a field that determins which level a person works at should allow you to create your groups.

If you have Visio, its Organization Chart Wizard can read data from an Access database - see Make Microsoft Visio 2000 Organization Charts from Personnel Files.

I saw this interesting Access MDE called Virtual Hierarchy It is in A97 and 2000 versions and looks quite useful, I have been playing with it and have just got to get used to its little quirks but it is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>
