    MS Wireless Mouse/KB

Does anyone have any experience with a jittery wireless mouse? I've changed batteries, changed channels, removed any possible sources of interference, metal objects etc, when navigating a page w/mouse it frequently causes the window to jitter, when scolling with the cursor keys no problem. I've trouble shot via the resident help to no avail. Any suggestions
    Regards,

I have a wired Microsoft Explorer mouse and it does the same thing. Always has, and I've never found an answer or reference to it elsewhere. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15> I suspect it has to do with the guts of the mouse because it follows it from computer to computer.

I've used serveral different brands and models of wireless mice, and haven't seen the problem you describe yet. Maybe you have faulty hardware?

Does it have a mouse ball or is it an optical mouse.

If it is the former, open it up and give the ball rollers a good clean or if the latter put the mouse on a piece of A4 paper and see if it runs smoothly.

My wireless MS mouse has done the same thing from day one, and, like you, I've found no solution. It's irritating but something I've grown to live with.

Do you have the latest Intellipoint/Intellitype drivers?

I'm with Jezza on this one. I've never had a MS but have had two Logitechs and the optical mice were malfunctioning on a mouse pad. As soon as I removed the mouse pad and started using them on a wooden computer table, the problems stopped. I don't think I could put up with your problem and would try another brand if push came to shove.
