    cross tab query (2000)

Hello have a cross tab query that takes it's data from a select query. I need to be able to allow users to select date ranges and users, which I do on a form and take those values as criteria back to the query. It seems this approach cannot work with a cross tab? Is this so or do I need to adopt a different approach than usual For refence on a field in the select query I have IIf([forms]![frmreports]![cc] Is Not Null,[forms]![frmreports]![cc],[tblmain].[callhandler]), this so the query returns a given sleected callhandler's details or detail on all if none is selected. When I run the cross tab I get this message "jet db engine does not recognise forms!frmreports!cc as a vaild field or expression. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Darren.

    Hi,
For crosstab queries, you need to explicitly declare the parameters - see for example <post:=534,257>post 534,257</post:> for full details.
