move sentence shortcut key (Word XP)

What's a recommended shortcut key sequence for "Move {up/down} to next sentence"?

Ctrl-UpArrow (downarrow) is for paragraphs. Ctrl-LeftArrow (rightarrow) is for words. Sentences fall in between. I'm thinking Ctrl-Period for next sentence to right, Ctrl-Comma for next sentence to left, with the Shift key added for Selection.

Public Sub MoveToNextSentence()
Dim rng As Range
Set rng = Selection.Sentences(1)
rng.Start = rng.End
rng.Select
End Sub

It's nice to use the familiar meanings of Ctrl and Shift the way you describe, but commas and periods seem less than optimal... Ctrl+Alt+arrow is available in a default installation of Word 2003, but for some, those arrow keys might be dangerously close to the "Del" key. (And Ctrl+Alt+Shift requires too much coordination for anything that would be used frequently.)

BTW, there are built-in commands SentLeft, SentLeftExtend, SentRight, SentRightExtend.
You could assign keyboard shortcuts to them... no need for macros.

Not On My Keyboard(s!) I'm still having problems finding the Del key on the laptop. It's there somewhere, I know.

I see too Klaus's reference to commands. I'll give those a try.

I thought of the "period" because of its familiarity with a sentence. I agree that Ctrl-Alt-Shift-anything can hardly be classed as a shortcut to anywhere.

Thank you, Klaus. I have realised too that the Shift-period and Shift-comma show up as the LT and GT symbols, a happy coincidence signalling leftwards-pointing and rightwards-pointing.
