Automatic reconnect Wireless Network

I have a Dell 600m with built in wireless G. My server is a linksys. Both of my other wireless computers will keep their connection up with no problem. This Dell constantly loses the connection. IS there some way, I can automatically set it to reconnect? My SSID is set to Enable Broadcast.
I did a Google for this issue and did not fins anything useful, but a good question is 3/4 of the answer, so maybe I Asked wrong

Thanks

Is your BIOS up-to-date? Are you drivers up-to-date? Is there a firmware update for your router? Have you checked the Dell forums?

Yes to all the above. I am really trying to find either a setting in Windows or a small program that will automatically reattach.

Is the problem PC significantly further away from the router than the others?

Several of the links in dell 600m dropping wireless connection - Google Search have suggestions to try for connections dropping.

Even though Dell's automatic scan said i had all the latest drivers. I still found a newer driver for the wireless card on their site. I am in the midst of seeing if ti will help.

Zave

I have a Dell 510m laptop and was unable to access my wireless network. So I disabled the 2100 3A mini PCI adaptor and bought a gigabyte usb wireless adaptor and tried that. Didn't work every time as the connection of the USB was not a tight fit. Solved that with an extension cable. Snagless ever since!

basically you are saying that the built in wireless is worthless? I have that on my wife's laptop that it has a card and that one is fine. Could be you are correct. I just wish that somewhere there was a setting that if you lost connection, it would automatically repair- would that not be smart? Oh Well <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

Might be worth borrowing a USB adaptor to try the system out and see how you get on. To buy, they are about
