How Confidential ARE Bcc. (Thunderbird (1.0.7))

I thought the purpose of BCCs was to send a copy of an e-mail to a third party w/o any of the addressees being aware of it.

Just received a e-mail on my Thunderbird 1.0.7 clearly showing various BCCs. The sender was using a webmail interface. The backend of the webmail was IlohaMail 0.7.9.

    Be careful out there!

Sounds like an improperly implemented mail system on the sender's end. I always assume that anything written, with pen and ink or with electronic characters, can be read by eyes other than those originally intended. As Andy Grove once said... 'Only the paranoid survive'!
