left and right justification (word 2003)

I searched for an answer, but didn't find one, so I apologize if there's one floating out there.

I have a header in which I would like, on one line, a portion of the text left aligned and a portion right aligned. This was real easy in WordPerfect....

    Thanks.

If you mean the page header: the Header style by default has a center-aligned tab in the middle and a right-aligned tab on the right margin, so pressing Tab twice after the left part will do what you want.
If you mean a heading: place a right-aligned tab on the right margin. Press Tab after the left part.
