Find finding word that doesnt exist !!! (2000)

I am currently going through all of our templates changing our office address as we are moving next week.

After I had finished one department I did a search on a word in the old address (Atholl) through Start, Search, File or Folders - containing text - and a few documents came up. When I go into them and do a find for Atholl it comes back saying that its not in the document. I have checked the properties and its not the either.

Does anyone know why this is?

Perhaps there are documents with hidden tracked changes. Or the old address is somewhere in the metadata. You could check as follows:
    Select File | Open...
Select one of the "suspect" documents.
In the Files of type box, click Recover Text from Any File (*.*)
    Click Open.
Word will display all readable text stored in the document.
Important: don't save the document this way!

Don't forget to set Files of type back to Word documents when you're done.

Thanks Hans - found it now.

Our old server was called Atholl and it was finding some old path names - will try a different word next time

    Thanks again
