    controller error

    I am getting a "The driver detected a controller error on DeviceScsia320raid1." on my Server and I searched all of over the web and could not find an answer to solve this problem. i am not sure what to look for. This is a HP Proliant Sever and I am not sure which drive is going bad. Some PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Read the error message carefully again: it's a controller error, not necessarily a disk error. Can you tell us more about the RAID array? Is it RAID 0, 1, 0+1, or higher? RAID 0 would be a major concern since there is no redundancy, but anything higher and you have some level of protection.

    Most likely it is hardware failure. Replace your SCSI card.
