making a global excel menu button running specode (2000-03)

Hi I have a question about making customized buttons on my main menu of my excel i have about 4 macros that i would like to use global for everywork opened on my computer. so instead of running them each time by going to tools > macros > vba editor and inserting a module i would have to just click a button for each macro
anyone one know how i can do this?

    hi Patrick,

    1. macros are for general purposes and you are planning on using them in more then one wbk then
    2.select veiw > Toolbars customize
3.click toolbars tab in customize box and make sure that the toolbar that will contain the new button is visible
4.then click on the commands tab and under categories scroll down to macros
5.drag the custom macro to the tool bar
6.right click on the tool bar button and pick assign macro in the sub menu
    7.select the macro
8.you can right click on the button and change the icon and name
