    data (excel 2003)

    Edited by HansV to provide link to post - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>

    In my last post, <post#=545044>post 545044</post#> I showed the plot on the xy chart - it works fine and thanks to all for their help.
    I now have my input sheets and plots the way I want. The problem now is data!
    I have over 100 lawn bowlers' data to be entered each having 64 measurements for distance and 64 for directions.
    To save 100 worksheets (with many more to come) makes a big file.
    Is there a simpler way where I can just save the input data in a file and at the press of a button that data converts in output and plot diagrams?
    Maybe I ask too much - is it possible and how do I go about that?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: data (excel 2003)

    You could put all data in a single worksheet, and create one chart plus a combo box (dropdown list) to select a bowler.
    See <post:=516,879>post 516,879</post:>, <post:=466,223>post 466,223</post:> or <post:=452,542>post 452,542</post:> for examples of such charts.

    HUGE screenshot moved to zipped attachment by HansV - don't post images larger than 640 x 480 pixels, PLEASE!

    Hans,

    First of all thanks for your help. This is to help with coaching. there is no such spreadsheet in Oz that I know of.
    I'm still at a loss.
    I hope that the attachment explains better what my problem is.
    In the yellow area I have to fill in the measured.data (distance is already in place - degrees still to be added.

    Do I have to save a worksheet for each of the 100 bowlers for future reference or can I create a database.

    Sorry, I don't have the slightest idea how your spreadsheet works. Perhaps someone could help if you posted a stripped down copy of the workbook (zipped if necessary).
