    Contact List (2000 SP3)

I am baffled as we originally were using Outlook Express, but have since switched to Outlook. When we go to send an email from Word or Excel, the address book that pops up is the Express address book. If I delete addresses from Express, they also disappear from Outlook. We want just our new Outlook contacts to be pulled, but this is not working. Any advice???? Help! <img src=/S/brainwash.gif border=0 alt=brainwash width=15 height=15>

Did you review and implement all the steps in Jefferson's <!post=Star Post,334705>Star Post<!/post>? (Unlike most dedicated Mail Clients, Outlook does not automatically treat Contacts folders as email address lists; this give Outlook users more flexibility in recordkeeping.)

No, I did not - but will look at it now. Thank you.

I went in and looked at what he suggested, but his instructions are for Outlook 2002 and we are running 2000. I do not have all the options listed in the drop down menus.

Outlook 2000 had two modes: Internet Mail Only (IMO) which started configuration from Tools>Accounts..., and Corporate/Workgroup (CW) which started configuration from Tools>Services.... How far are you getting and what are you seeing?
