    Adding Word 2003 toolbars (Word 2003)

    Some time ago, I created a VBA add-in for Word 97 to add custom toolbars to the active template. I have just upgraded to Office 2003 and the code runs fine. However, for some strange reason, the custom toolbars are being added to Normal.dot even though I explicitly make a reference to the active template (which is never normal.dot).

    Has anyone else ever come across this 'feature' and found a solution to add the custom toolbars to the correct template?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    Do you set the CustomizationContext? For example,

    CustomizationContext = ActiveDocument.AttachedTemplate
    or
    CustomizationContext = ThisDocument

    Hi Hans,

    Thanks for your advice. Setting the CustomizationContext fixed my problem.
