    Default Home Page (5)

My default page of Yahoo keeps changing to this website: drvv.com

I have checked for a virus so I don't believe that is the problem.

I think it's related to my husband's surfing and he clicks on an unsuspecting spot which triggers it.

How can I stop it from changing? I'm real annoy it's being done without being asked. He said he has never been asked about changing the home page.

What browser and OS are you using.

I've visited the site and clicked through the links on the Home Page without effect. That was on a spare machine running IE4 and Win95. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

I'm using Windows 98 SE and Internet Explorer 5.

I believe it's one of the links preceding the website.

I read on their website touting how websites can earn money by having click throughs to their website.

Have you checked your list of programs that run at startup? Running MSCONFIG.EXE may show that some program could be set up to keep changing your default home page with every reboot. You could also check your Registry for any reference to drvv.com after resetting your home page. I'd definately consider adding *.drvv.com to your Restricted Sites zone.
