    ProWrite (Not sure)

A friend of mine has written several novels in a (American) programme called ProWrite. I think the spelling is correct but I am not sure.
She then moved to New Zealand without her computer and without the ProWrite disks.

Now she doesn't know how to open her documents because ProWrite is not available here.

Does anybody have any idea or suggestions what to do, or where to download this programme

    Thanks in advance

    Re: ProWrite (Not sure)

ProWrite was a word processor for the Amiga, now long defunct.

If your friend wrote on a PC, she probably used PFS: Professional Write. I don't think this is available any more. If she can have the ProWrite disks sent to her, that would be the easiest solution.

WordPort can read and convert Professional Write files. It's not free, but it's possible to download a trial version. The same company also provides an online conversion service (again, not free).

    Thanks for that.
I'll see her shortly at work and we can check Wordport out. I don't think she minds paying for the conversion. All she wants is the contents of her documents.

    Again, thanks
