Excel - Outlook linkage (Excel 2000)

Hi, I have an Excel Macro which links to Outlook and sends emails.

Previously this has been working fine, but just recently ( I am not sure what has changed) for each email the macro sends it comes up with a confirmation box which says "A Program is trying to automatically send an e-mail on your behalf....."

Is there any way to stop this.

    Regards

    Mike

    Hi,
I would say that you have recently had a service pack or other patch applied to your machine - this is a security feature introduced by MS in an attempt to combat virus propagation. You will find plenty of information about it in the Outlook forum and a few possible workarounds - I find the Redemption library the best.
    HTH.

You can download and install the free utility ClickYes.. It'll suppress this warning.

See post 488,173 for other options.
