I like the design you have already. Be watchful of the consistency of your DIV container widths; your FAQ page renders the menu on two lines in Firefox on my desktop. The picture is also outside the border of the main content page. This also happens on your contact page.

For a guestbook, I strongly recommend Lazarus Guestbook.

Just curious: Is this club a replacement for, or an addition to Club Southampton? I note that they both meet at "about" the same place, same day, same time. Anyway, lots of activities for the "younger" crowd, eh?

    Re: Comments on website

I like it very much, it seems to have the look and modern feel, nice colours, good pictures of clients.

As Mark says, there are problems with faq.htm and contact.htm but it appears you are on the case with that matter. I would suggest that you put the company address on the index page as it took me a little while to work out which town we were in and even which country although I guessed after I saw County Council <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Personally , I do not like pop up style maps using javascript as I could not immediately see it due to my version of IE 6 pop up blocker... a personal view but maybe something you should think about.

    Nice one <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Thanks for those comments , l have made the changes to the site with regards to the address.
I feel that it is a good point with regards to using javascript l will remove the javascript and replace it with an html
    page with map instructions.

    Re: Comments on website

The overall look is great - as Jezza said, light, breezy and modern. I like it, apart from the problems with the FAQ and Contact pages (and I'm with Jerry on the pop-up map).

I think the content could do with a bit of work. The first thing I noticed when I looked at the site was the mis-spelling of "Calendar" which, of course, appears on every page. Also, there are plenty more FAQs I'd expect an answer to: If this is a rival to Club Southampton, what makes it different? Why should I attend Club Amigo instead of Club Southampton or any other social club (or just head down the pub with my mates)? I'm Southampton resident within the target age range, and I'm afraid I don't see much to draw me in. Perhaps more detail on what the club does (other than drink together in pubs) would be more helpful. How often do the "outings" take place? Is transport normally provided? How do I find Rebecca and the gang once I enter Bar Risa? (It's quite a big bar if I remember rightly). How big is the club? Are there any rules new members should know about (what are the attitudes towards smoking / swearing / drunkenness etc.)? How do I know it's safe? What's the difference between this "social club" and any other group of people in a bar that I might care to introduce myself to?

Sorry, I know that might come across as negative, but I'm trying to be helpful and think of everything I can - although I realise I've strayed from commenting purely on the website design somewhat! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Oh, two last comments - you might want to put a copyright notice on the bottom of each page to protect your design, wording and images. It's also worth making sure that you have sufficient permission to use the images you have (from the copyright holder if there is one, and from the subjects if they're known to you). Perhaps even a disclaimer somewhere that the people pictured aren't necessarily members or representatives of the club. I know it may seem picky, but I've experienced first-hand just how outraged people can be if you use a picture of them without their permission, and you need to be very careful with the Data Protection Act these days.

    HTH,
    Waggers
If at first you do succeed, you&#39;ve probably missed something.
