    Sorting Unavailable All DB's (2002)

On all of my existing databases and on any new databases I create, I don't have the sorting buttons available. They are faded out no matter what field I click in. I assume it is some kind of application problem on that computer as it happens on brand new databases with one table and only one field, using all of the default field properties.

    Any ideas,
    Thank you

I assume that you have tested whether restarting your PC makes the problem go away.

Have you tried Help | Detect and Repair from within Access?
Have you tried a repair installation of Access?

    Thank you Hans,
    Tried but still nothing.
I will try a full uninstall and reinstall.

Good luck! Make sure that the registry keys for Access (HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0Acces s at the least) are removed.
