    Copy Table Format (2003/SP 2)

I have a large table that appears in 12 different chapters of a book. The format should be identical in every chapter. I am copying loads of old data into the new table, and every time I copy a group of rows, the old table format comes over. I want to set up the column widths once and be done with it. AutoFit to window/contents doesn't fly, since it won't make them uniform between different tables. Any suggestions for how to address this?

    Thanks, Tsukina <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

Perhaps you can use the macro by <!profile=macropod>macropod<!/profile> in <post:=538,319>post 538,319</post:>.
And I posted a macro in <post:=536,070>post 536,070</post:> that will make column widths in all tables in a document the same as in the first table.

    Hans, you're a wonder!
It worked like a dream, as soon as I elimnated those pesky merged heading cells.
    Thanks again!
    Tsukina
