I just purcahsed the "cheap" version of Dell's Axim 51. Seemed like a good deal at $254.00. This will be my first Pocket PC device after owning a Palm IIIx and then a Zire 71.

I compared the Axim to the Palm TX. The TX seemed to have a better cpu, screen, and had built in wifi, but there were a few features that the Dell had that wn me over. Namely, the voice recorder and the replaceable batteries. Plus the fact that it was a Dell rather than a Palm swayed me after a horrbile experience with the Zire 71 (there were many, many, hardware problems with that model, and I struggled with them all at one time or another).

I guess the first thing I have to do is to find replacements for ThinkDB and HandySopper.
