    Autonumbering (XPHome:SP2:Word2k)

Is it possible to set up sequential numbering of pre-printed papers?

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Could you try to explain in more detail what you want to accomplish?

Apologies HansV, I had an interruption and intended to cancel and rewrite the query properly, but pressed the 'post it' button instead.

I need to print about a thousand small labels (in sheets of fifty) with sequential numbers. Could you advise a way to do this, please. I would be using Avery labels
which the Labels program should recognise.

Thanks very much Hans, between those two posts I have enough info to apply to my requirements.

In the process of trying to return to this thread, having forgotten this post number, I found out how to search any specific board for any desired subject. Looks like I'm going to be clearing up an accumulation of mini problems for a long time!

Thank you for your guidance which is much appreciated.

Hans, not sure of the protocol for this. Whether I needed a new post or not. Went to 85,450 and from there found post 345291 which comes from Feb 04. I posted a question to that post. Thinking about it, wondered if one should reply to such an old post, and whether or not there would be a reply, or should it be a new post referring to that particular post.

    Thanks.

I apologize. This is the wrong post. I should have clicked on the one about Autonumbering Tickets.

    Re: Autonumbering (XPHome:SP2:Word2k)

Some discussion sites object to old threads being revived. Woody's Lounge doesn't have problems with that; if you have a question that logically follows on to a thread that has long been inactive, it's perfectly
OK to ask it in that thread.

BTW, you can post a link to a post very easily: simply select the post number below the subject, including the square brackets, for example <!t>[Post: 85,450]<!/t>.
Copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) and paste it into your post (Ctrl+V). The Lounge software will convert it to a hyperlink: <post:=85,450>post 85,450</post:>.
