    Prints to File (office 2003)

There is a teacher in my school who always gets dialogue box to enter the name for the output file when he tries to print. The checkbox for 'Print to File' is NOT turned on. This is only happening with Excel, other programs print normally. I don't see any other menu settings that would cause this. How can I turn it off?

Is the printer output setup to go to a file? If it is an output file, it does not matter if the box is checked or not.

If you goto File - Print

Does it list "FILE:" in the "Where:"?

no, it does not say 'File'. the 'Where' shows the correct USB port for his computer.
