    Msconfig|Startup

Could someone please tell me if I need the following items in Msconfig|Startup enabled or not:
    1.) ScanRegistry c:windowsscanregw.exe /autorun
    2.) LoadPowerProfile Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,LoadCurrentPwrScheme
    3.) EM_EXEC CDRIVE_DPROGRA~1LOGITECHMOUSEW~1SYSTEMEM_EXEC.EXE

These have to do with my dual monitor system but I don't know if they need to loaded at Startup. Do you
    <img src=/S/dizzy.gif border=0 alt=dizzy width=15 height=15>???
    4.) HydarVisionDesktopManager desk98.exe
    5.) HydarVisionViewport viewport.exe
    and finally
    6.) load= cplimitocraware.exe

Thanks in advance for any help !

    Re: Msconfig|Startup

Strictly speaking, only you can tell. Disable 'em one at a time and see if things happen/don't happen that you can't get on with. However, you certainly don't need scanreg to do its stuff all the time, and if you don't use power management, that's two out of the way. The Logitech prog is probably only the info and mouse config, as Windows mouse drivers load on startup. If you never alter your mouse, that's another one biting the dust.
Can't help you with 4,5 & 6, I'm afraid. Never heard of any of 'em.
btw this sort of slow starting is another good reason to upgrade to Win 2kp, though for some reason in its infinite wisdom (not) MS removed MSCONFIG from its OS. Makes you wonder what these people do at night...
