Not a big deal, just curious. Why does this thread display the last four posts wrapping the date ? I have seen it before (can't remember where) but it's a very rare occurence. Using IE 5.0 with all settings to lounge optimum.

At a guess, in threaded mode, the date column is set slightly too narrow - and 'Jun' is slightly larger than 'Apr'
I'm curious too because that table cell has a 'nowrap' attribute. What's different about your system?

I'm getting it too, on IE5.5
FYI, I'm on Grey. If I change to a larger or smaller font, there is no line wrap. <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>
Yep <img src=/S/yep.gif border=0 alt=yep width=15 height=15> would appear to be skin related. Changed from Toffee to Toffee Big and the wrap went away. On the other hand, why only this one thread ? I went through several pages of threads trying to find another example without success.
Ummm. I'll investigate. Surely a *smaller* skin shouldn't do it.

Another one <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=wrd&Number=35530&page=2 &view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0>here</A>
My uneducated guess is that the column width is set by the first entry. In this and the first example, both have a first post date of April. Apr is slightly narrower than May or Jun, hence posts that span a month as these do, are displayed wrapped.
?
Right! Found it and fixed it. I was looking in the wrong place before - it *didn't* have the nowrap attribute. Now it has...

ouch ! just got worse. Now it's doing it in forum view.
Could you give me the link - I can't tell where it is from your picture.
It's a different script BTW...

Ah, I've found it. It was OK in 'top' view but I'd missed the nowrap attribute in 'side' view. It should right now.

oops, sorry that was the access forum but of course you know that now. By the way, if you can suggest a means of improving my side view (tend to cast a much larger shadow from that direction), it would be greatly appreciated. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
Maybe "Keep your back to the wall at all times"? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
