Voting Button Updates (or not) (Outlook 2003)

I have a client that sends out Audit requests email with voting buttons to a large number of Attorneys. My client is having an issue with not all of the voting button responses to the email they sent out updating on the tracking tab. Specifically, the email was sent on the 18th, and responses from the 18th do update on the tracking tab; but responses received from the 19th on are not updated on the tracking tab
I did some hunting around on the Microsoft site but could not find any relevant information

Has anyone figured this out? I am facing the same situation. Thanks

Joe, the last link, to WindowsITPro, requires registration - can you provide a summary of the article? (It may be redundant with a post I'm making on this topic.)

(Edited by JohnBF on 31-Jan-07 12:10. )
From what I can gather:

    1. All recipients must use Outlook (Outlook Express or any other mail client will not work)
    2. All recipients must reply in RTF-formatted messages

for Voting Buttons to work correctly and be tallied. Recipients do NOT need to be on the same server, or on Exchange.

Edit: I know this doesn't answer the questions about failure to count tallies correctly. I don't have an answer for that, but I do have a possible warning: I seem to recall that responses must be left in the sender Exchange mailbox to be counted correctly. Isn't there some kind of update button on the original sent vote request message? It has been a long time since I used the voting option.

Oops. I believe the registration is free. All that it adds is that the original message must remain in Sent Items
