    Find and replace with font colour white (Word 2002 /XP SP3)

    in a Word document currently I have characers with Colour: Automatic, and I need to find these characters and replace the colour to Font:White

    I thought the easiest would be a Find and Replace.

    I just recorded a macro to see the basic code, however there is no reference to Font White.

    any ideas?

    This is a limitation of the macro recorder. You can add the lines you need to the recorded code, somewhere between With Selection.Find and End With:

    .Font.Color = wdColorAutomatic
    .Replacement.Font.Color = wdColorWhite
