Using Save As to save as A4 paper size (2000)

Is is possible to save an email document in an A4 format , l used save as RTF but this saved it as letter document.
Is there a way of using Save as in outlook so that the document can be saved as a A4 size document?
see attachment for example of page setup of document in Word of document l saved in outlook as a RFT format file.
I haved changed page setup in outlook as A4 but for some reason it resorts to letter when l saved the document.

What is the default paper size for your default printer? Outlook follows this, as far as I can tell.

Is the sender using Word as their email editor, with Letter set up as their default paper size?

(The other thing to check is your page setup in IE as Outlook is known to take printing preferences from that.)

Do you mean setup in Word or in printer setup or both?
See atatchment for how l saving the document which l received as an email.
How could l best test the user setup is letter and not A4?

Re: Using Save As to save as A4 paper size (2000)

I have very little experience with either using Word as an email editor or using RTF, so I'm grasping at straws here a bit!

I'm wondering if the sender is using Word as their editor, and their default page format is Letter. I guess the best thing to see is if they start composing an email in Word, then check the format via File > Page Setup.

(Outlook uses IE for page formatting regardless of which browser you use.)

I don't know if there is an easy answer.
When viewing the email, can you Edit > Edit Message using Word and change the page setup, then save it? (This may affect the date info of the email)
Alternatively, if you just want to retain a viewable/printable copy, could you save it as a pdf?

The person sending the email has A4 setup in Word and in Outlook any ideas as to what else l could try?
Shall l post on another area on the forum?
For some reason it is defaulting to letter?

I'm out of ideas here, but I'd leave it in Outlook for the time being as it is essentially an Outlook issue. Hopefully there will be others with ideas who haven't checked in yet today.
