    Explorer error messages (WXP pro SP')

    Windows Explorer has suddenly started to go flaky, & keeps saying it has to close. Can anyone tell us what the following error messages mean? Please?

    Close all running programs, and then enter each of the following commands individually from Start > Run. After each, you should get a message that the command succeeded (then click OK).

    regsvr32 mshtml.dll
    regsrv32 wininet.dll

    If that doesn't fix the problem, run System File Checker.
    At Start > Run, type: SFC /SCANNOW (note the space between SFC and the forward slash), and hit OK or Enter. Follow any on-screen instructions and have your XP CD handy in case you are prompted to insert it in your CD drive. HTH <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
