    Mailbox size (Mozilla 1.7.12)

Running WinXP SP2. Have been getting bounced Emails . Tells me my mailbox is full. Is there someway I can increase the size of my box without going to Outlook or Outlook Express as Email client?

It's probably the size alloted to you by your email service provider that's at its limit.
You likely have your email program's properties set to "leave messages on the server", or some such terminology.

I'm using Outlook here at the office so I can't tell you where to look, but perhaps someone else will respond with more info.

    Have a Great day!!!

I believe Ken is right that the message must be coming from your ISP. I don't think Mozilla Mail cares how many messages you have on your LOCAL computer. You have to go to Mozilla email, NOT Preferences, and open the Settings for this Account. In there you will see a screen like the attachment. See if Ken is right and you have the choice selected to leave messages on the server and let us know what you find.

Welcome to the Lounge! Poke around a bit & enjoy, and learn something new!

Ken is pointing you in the right direction. I have used Thunderbird (the stand-alone version of Mozilla's email) both ways. It's important to follow BigAl's advice if you DO NOT automatically download your messages.

Be sure to visit your Email provider's web portal to delete a bunch of messages you have or just don't want to allow your messages to get through.

OTOH if the specific message is that it is not possible to write to your Inbox, that means that your Inbox file (on your local hard disk) has become corrupted. If that is the case, please post back for detailed instructions on how to deal with this. HTH
