Click the next line...

Ok, I really am getting pedantic now (but figured "Lounge matters" had been quiet for a day or two)... In the automated email when someone responds to one of my posts, it says:

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL! Click the next line to go to the Lounge:

    - then the URL appears on the same (not the next) line. As I say, it's totally a nerdy, pedantic point and nothing of consequence, but hey

    Re: Click the next line...

I get my emails in plain text, and the line appears where it should. Depending on your email client, line breaks may be removed. Point is, it is difficult to format an email consistently so that all recipients get exactly the same layout, as there are no standards in email clients as there are on the web proper.

Of course, you're absolutely right. Outlook removes "extra" line breaks, so the reason why the link isn't on the next line is down to that. Thanks Mark
