    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

If you press the PrintScreen key on your keyboard, an image of the entire screen is placed on the Windows clipboard, ready to be pasted into any application that can handle graphics, such as Microsoft Paint, or Microsoft Word, etc. You can then print from that application.
Alt+PrintScreen copies an image of the active (foreground) window to the clipboard.

There are also screen capture applications that make it easier to grab a part of the screen, automate saving the screenshots etc. Many are free. See for example <post:=540,888>post 540,888</post:>, <post:=489,137>post 489,137</post:>, <post:=395,098>post 395,098</post:> or do a search for screen capture in the Software Finds and Wants forum.
