    PDFCreator gets a new version

While hunting for something entirely different, I observed that the Sourceforge project PDFCreator has had its first update since April 2004.

Does anyone use it? I tend to use CutePDF, which I justify following a recent nasty experience with PDF995 producing rubbish for a user without any error message, and them not checking that the output was readable in Adobe Reader. Two or three times...

Re: PDFCreator gets a new version

When I last tried this program, we were stumped by the lack of support for very large paper sizes. Since almost everyone here needs to print pdfs from time to time, I bought a mess of PDF995 licenses. It's interface is a little funky, but I've never had any real bi problems with it. Unfortunately, it seems like nothing works as well as Acrobat, so we end up having to do a lot in that program.

A simple PDF creator with a few options (security, for print, for screen, etc) try the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> Primo PDF creator found at http://www.primopdf.com/ . After it converts (it installs as a printer option) the new document opens up in your defined PDF reader.
