    Close Form (Access 2000)

How can i avoid closing the form through the File-Close action on the toolbar? Could i close the form only through a command button and not by clicking the right upper angle of the form ?

Yes you can place a button on the form that will close the form

in the design view for the form make sure the toolbox toolbar is showing
    view>toolbox
in this toolbar there is an icon that looks like a button
click on this button and then click on the form where you want the close form button to go

A wizard should start up that has options in the left column of
    Record Navigation
    Record Operations
    Form operations
    Report operations
    etc

    select "Form Operations"

and then from the right column select
    "Close Form"

Click next and you can choose an image to have on the button or some text
Click Next again and you can rename the button to something a bit more meaningful
    try btnExit then click finish
